Alicia is a bilingual (English and Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in Florida and Kentucky, specializing in trauma resolution and relationship-focused therapy grounded in curiosity, respect, and emotional safety.

She holds a Master’s in Education from the University of Louisville and a Master of Social Work from the University of South Florida. Alicia brings extensive experience in psychiatric social work, including work with children and adolescents with severe behavioral and mental health challenges, as well as advanced training in DBT, couples therapy, sex and sexuality, and trauma resolution. She is certified in Trauma Incident Reduction (TIR) and incorporates Parts-based work into her clinical approach.

Alicia’s current focus includes relationship and couples therapy, sex and sexuality concerns, and trauma resolution. She frequently works with couples navigating sexual difficulties, recovery from compulsive sexual behaviors, and the rebuilding of trust, intimacy, and healthy connection. Her work emphasizes depth, clarity, and practical change—without shame, moralizing, or pathologizing.

In addition to her clinical practice, Alicia is an international speaker who has presented on sex and sexuality at conferences around the world. She has been featured multiple times on Fox 4 and Univision SWFL. A central thread of her work is helping individuals and couples understand themselves more honestly, unlearn shame, and build relationships that feel both authentic and sustainable.Alicia is licensed in both Florida and Kentucky.
